Data Scientist (60 – 100%)

 

Tasks:

  • Develop, implement and apply semi-physiological models for glucose-insulin metabolism

  • Analyse complex datasets (high resolution medical device data) using advanced statistical and mathematical models

  • Strengthen DCB’s data science capabilities and contribute to its visibility
  • Support start-ups and partners in tasks related to data science, such as algorithm development or validation
  • Identify elements and software components to build up the DCB data infrastructure
  • Provide programming for statistical analysis where required; review and generate study metrics and status reports within and across several studies
  • Manage, store and process data in accordance with data transfer agreements and client-specific requirements
  • Write, review, and approve study data analysis documents in compliance with DCB or client SOPsCollaborate closely with clinical project managers and other data team members


Requirements:

  • Higher education (MSc/PhD in mathematics, statistics, physics, bioinformatics or related field)
  • Proven experience in analysing health data, ideally in diabetes and/or women’s health
  • Strong foundation in mathematics/statistics (required)
  • Solid experience in Python, R or scientific computation
  • Familiarity with clinical trials, from first-in-human through post marketing
  • Professional fluency in English, both written and spoken Strong interpersonal skills, with a proactive and collaborative mindset
